This body of work focuses on the use of space and environment by the community at Holifield farm, a day centre for adults with disability. The photographs offer a reflection in to the social interactions and the identity created by the community within the environment.
Over a duration of six months, an integration in to the community, allowed an understanding in to the narrative held by the community and an opportunity to explore the space and interactions between people and the environment. The photograph captures the traces of human interaction within the environment, allowing a glimpse in to this world.
Within the process of exploring the community at Holifiled farm, a photographic collaboration took place, exploring the per-formative nature of portraiture. The collaboration acted as a way to share with the community the process of photography and an opportunity for the community to author their own images.
